Terms of service

“We” means that entity. “You” means the person or organisation using the site. “Publisher” means whoever submits a plugin.

A marketplace for plugins for coding agents. We review what is submitted, publish what passes, and handle payment and licensing between you and publishers.

We are not the author of the plugins. Each is written by its publisher, who is responsible for it. We are the reviewer and the distributor.

Every version is checked before publication against the published policy, and the outcome is shown on the plugin page with the stages that ran and those that did not.

Review means: at the moment it was reviewed, that exact archive passed those checks. It is not a guarantee that the plugin is free of defects, fit for your purpose, or harmless in every context. A plugin runs with the permissions of whoever installs it, and that judgement stays yours.

We may withdraw a plugin at any time if it turns out to breach the policy. That includes plugins you have paid for — see clause 7.

Keep your credentials to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has them. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

One person or organisation, one account. Accounts created to evade a suspension or a licence limit may be closed.

A paid plugin comes with a licence that is:

• tied to your account and non-transferable;
• valid on one machine at a time — you can release it from your account and activate it elsewhere, up to three times every thirty days;
• perpetual for a one-off purchase, or valid for the paid period plus a short grace window for a subscription;
• valid for every approved version of that plugin, not one release.

A licence lets you use the plugin. It does not transfer ownership of it, and it does not let you redistribute it or resell it.

We may check a licence when a plugin starts. If it is invalid, revoked, expired or used beyond its machine limit, the plugin may refuse to run.

Prices are shown before purchase and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payment is handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.

A subscription renews automatically at the price you signed up at until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves the period you have already paid for intact.

Refunds are governed by the refunds and withdrawal page, which forms part of these terms.

If a published plugin is found to breach the security policy, we suspend it. It disappears from the catalogue and from the manifests we serve, and it stops working for everyone — including people who paid for it. A suspension that spared existing buyers would protect nobody.

A suspension takes effect at the next licence check, and in any case within twelve hours on an installation that had already checked in. Licence checks are answered with a signed result a plugin may run on for that long, so that an outage on our side does not stop plugins that are in good standing. The same window is what delays a suspension from reaching a machine already running.

If a plugin you had bought is suspended, contact us. Whether a refund is due depends on when you bought it and why it was withdrawn.

• redistribute, resell or publish a plugin you licensed;
• work around licence checks, machine limits or the review process;
• submit plugins that breach the security policy, or that you do not have the right to distribute;
• attack, overload or probe the service outside a scope we have agreed in writing.

We aim to keep the service up but do not promise uninterrupted availability. Plugins that verify their licence are built to survive our being unreachable: a check we answer is signed, and the plugin may run on that answer for twelve hours without reaching us again.

Past that, a plugin whose licence cannot be checked stops, because a check that never completes is not a check that passed. So an outage longer than the window, or one that catches an installation which has not checked in recently, can still stop a plugin you paid for.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, and the statutory rights of consumers.

Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, our liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for what a plugin does on your machine: that is between you and its publisher.

We may change these terms. Material changes are announced before they take effect, and continuing to use the service afterwards means accepting them.

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms; perpetual licences you have already bought survive unless the breach is the reason for closure.

These terms are governed by the law of [JURISDICTION], and disputes go to the courts of [COURT].

If you are a consumer in the EU, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country, and you may use the European online dispute resolution platform.
